This is The Dimpled Date`s first chia seed pudding recipe! What makes this recipe different is that it has double the chia seeds most recipes have yet still manages to taste good texturally and flavor-wise. Plus, it has no dairy, no refined sugar, and no artificial colors. It is full of fiber, protein, omega-3s, iron, antioxidants, and L-theanine but tastes like crunchy sweet matcha + almond bliss. This matcha chia seed pudding takes just 5 minutes, 1 bowl, and 6 ingredients for this breakfast and snack staple to come together.

This chia pudding is tasty, healthy, and easy to make. What`s not to love? Matcha, almond, cinnamon, and chia seeds team up for something that is a little green tea-forward, a little nutty-sweet, and a whole lotta crunchy.
As always, this recipe is vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar free, and entirely naturally colored. It can also be made nut-free and and is sweetened with sticky sweetener.

This recipe is packed with fiber, protein, omega-3s, iron, magnesium, antioxidants, and L-theanine, and it gives you a little morning boost thanks to a little natural tea caffeine (theine). It`s perfect for breakfast or a snack served with fresh fruit. You can even dress it up and add raw nuts/seeds or a drizzle of your favorite nut/seed butter. For the photos, I added fresh blueberries, pumpkin seeds, a sprinkle of matcha, and a drizzle of raw hempseed butter. But honestly I think this chia pudding tastes best on its own!
Plus, it`s so easy and quick to make (just 1 bowl, 5 minutes, and 6 ingredients). Let`s get to this recipe!

By the way, do you like the pet cameos in the last two pictures? :) Hint: in the photo directly above, look at the bottom right. Those are my two rescue blue heelers: Jovi (full Australian cattle dog. Read: full crazy) + Stella (and her paw) (the older angelic cattle dog mix) because they insisted on staying put during my photoshoot 🥰
Thanks for checking out this recipe! If you liked it, feel free to give it a <3
As always,
Enjoy!
