EDIT: I did an oopsie, and wrote down the wrong amount of dates and berries in this recipe. I've corrected the recipe card with the correct amounts, otherwise you'll get a very earthy smoothie haha. The latest smoothie is here, and it's a surprisingly good combination: rose + beets + cherries (or strawberries)! It results in a deliciously floral, fruity, nutrient-dense hot-pink smoothie, and you don't even taste the beets. Plus it's high protein, boasts multiple servings of fruits and vegetables, and lends itself to toppings like a chocolate drizzle or freeze-dried berries. And of course, it's dairy-free, naturally colored, and sweetened only with fruit. Translation: it's a milkshake but healthy. Ideal for post-workout, breakfast, or a snack, this smoothie provides the perfect pick-me-up. AND it only takes 5 minutes to make. So go make this smoothie!

Welcome to the latest Dimpled Date smoothie! Beets, cherries, rose water, banana, plant-based protein, superseeds, and plant milk team up for a tasty, nutritious, and aesthetically pleasing drink.
As always, it is 100% vegan, gluten-free, fruit-sweetened, and naturally colored. And oh so yum. Think cherry-almond meets fragrant yet subtle floral notes meets sweetness. Enough said. Even if you don't like rose as a flavor, I encourage you to try this smoothie. I bet you'll like it, and it's a good introduction into the world of floral flavors if you're not big on them yet.

Let's look at a brief nutritional breakdown of some of the star ingredients in this smoothie:

Plant-based protein powder
Rose water
Not just an aromatic extract, rose water is shockingly rich in antioxidants and beneficial plant compounds. Like whole rose hips, rose water even contains vitamin C and other vitamins, albeit in much smaller amounts.
